Abstract:
To reduce a calibration execution timing difference of printers in a printing system having a plurality of printers connected via a network.
Each printer in the system transmits a correction interval control signal interval to the other printers on the basis of the calibration result (S402-S405). Moreover, when a precision rank of an environment sensor related to the calibration execution of the other printer which has transmitted the correction interval control signal interval is higher than that of the one printer, the one printer adopts the transmitted interval control signal and adjusts a calibration interval (S401, S406 and S407).
