PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both independent staple processing for each of page ranges and staple processing for a whole page ranges when the same staple processing is set for consecutive plural ranges of pages in a print job.SOLUTION: In a client PC1 constituting a printing system, an input can be executed by an input part 11 on a display screen by a display part 12 according to each function of a printer driver 15. As an exception page setting in a print job, staple processing in a print setting different from that in a print setting set for the print job is available for each range of specified pages in the print job. When consecutive plural ranges of specified pages have the same staple processing setting as the exception page setting, it is selectable between a separated print setting for each of the consecutive plural ranges of specified pages and a print setting for combining the consecutive plural ranges of specified pages as a series of ranges of specified pages, and printing of the print job is instructed according to an exception page setting of the selected print setting.
