PURPOSE: To provide the system which outputs the printing result in a form convenient for preservation and reference in the same manner as conventional bankbooks made from paper and realizes a device more simple and inexpensive than a conventional bankbook writer by providing a means, which reads stored data in page units, and a means which prints read data in print forms of page units.
CONSTITUTION: Past transaction data are stored in the optical recording part of an electronic bankbook 1 in the execution order; and each time a certain number of transaction data which can be recorded in one page of the print form are printed, page number data obtained by adding one to the just preceding page number is recorded. When an ATM 7 writes unwritten transaction data sent from a computer center 3 in the electronic bankbook 1, the last page number in the electronic bankbook 1 is read out to calculate the page number based on this last page number. When a customer requests print of transaction data in the electronic bankbook 1, the ATM 7 reads transaction data from the electronic bankbook 1 in page units and prints them in the print form.
