To provide a private fitness information accumulating system using a non-contact IC tag capable of setting a fitness machine utilized by an exerciser without producing any erroneous exercising operation or applying any burden and without attendance of a professional trainer.
This system comprises an antenna for sending or receiving a signal and a circuit for receiving a question signal from a reader and sending a responding response signal to the reader. The system is operated by comprising the step of letting a fitness machine utilizer carrying the non-contact IC tag having a private identification information stored thereto; preparing the fitness machine having a reader fixed thereto; the step of letting the reader give or receive both the question signal and the response signal with the non- contact IC tag; and the step of adopting the private identification information to information stored in the non-contact IC tag and storing data concerning the fitness machine used by each person and the setting condition of the fitness machine.
