PURPOSE: To produce granulated substances independent of the viscosity and surface tension of a raw material and to enable to process not peleletizable substances by introducing substances to be granulated into a circulating cooling medium as a closed jet stream in a spraying direction, and also pulverizing and freezing them.

CONSTITUTION: A reaction tube 2 is arranged vertically in an insulation vessel 1 and the upper part of a transporting tube 3 arranged at the side of the bottom part of the vessel is opened in a separation apparatus 4. While a discharge trough 6 is arranged downward a ribbon screw 5 in the separation apparatus 4, at the same time, the trough is opened into the reaction tube 2. A transport element 7 is arranged on the bottom of the reaction tube 2, the element 7 is drived by a motor 8. Further, a product introducing part 9 is arranged at the bottom of the reactor tube 2 and also a transporting pump 10 is arranged thereto. A liq. nitrogen bath 11 is arranged in the insulation vessel 1, the bath is connected to the reaction tube 2 through an opening 14, the charging level is controlled by a level controller 12 and a liq. nitrogen supplying tube 13.
