Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily cope with a design change, etc., by making a storage medium such as processing data supplied to a machine tool into a disk cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A numerically controlled machine tool system including a processing information supplying device is composed of a machine tool main body 10, a numerical controller 12 and a processing information supplying device 14. The machine tool main body 10 is composed of a work mounting stand 30 moved in X and Y directions and a cutting tool 52 moved in a Z direction with servo motors 24 and 26. These servomotors 24-28 are driven and controlled based on the processing information supplied from the processing information supplying device 14 to the numerical controller 12. At this time, the processing information such as processing data and a processing command presented to the numerical controller 12 is accumulated in a disk cartridge 18 with a very large storage capacity while the information is of a dust-proofing construction. Thus, said cartridge 18 is charged to the processing information supplying device 14 and the necessary information is supplied by the instruction from a keyboard input unit 16.
