Abstract:

PURPOSE: To automate operations for yarn feeding package replacement, pick finding, yarn passing, doffing and yarn guarding by installing a yarn feed interchanging mechanism, a pick finding mechanism, a yarn passing mechanism, a doffing mechanism and a yarn guarding mechanism imposing a yarn end of a yarn feeding package on a paper tube when a cradle arm supports this paper tube, all in a carriage.

CONSTITUTION: A carriage 42 replaces an empty yarn feeding package supported by a spindle 4 with a yarn feeding package 3 with lifting elevation of an operating arm 85 of a yarn feed interchanging mechanism of a processing robot 41 at a position of a unit 2 after winding completion, and draws out a yarn end with a pick finding peg 61 of a pick finding mechanism, and when a tenser cap 18 is attached to a shaft port 3a of a yarn feeding package 3A, a pedal lever 48 operates a pedal 21, generating a pick finding air flow, and then yarn end is picked up. On the other hand, a paper tube feeding arm 115 of a doffing mechanism and an operating lever 113 open a movable piece so a cradle arm 6, removing a winding package of a full bundle, and a paper tube 5 is fed out of a stocker 28, yarn setting takes place on the paper tube 5 by a clamp cutter of a yarn guarding mechanism.
