Abstract:
The present invention relates to a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a product. A wear amount and a notch defect of a disk-shaped rotating grinding wheel can be detected by a detecting mechanism. A manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a product by cutting a processing object with a disk-shaped rotating grinding wheel (10) includes a detecting mechanism (21) having a light-emitting portion (23) and a light-receiving portion (24), wherein the light-emitting portion is used for emitting to an outer peripheral portion of the rotating grinding wheel irradiation light (25),the light receiving unit receives incident light (26) including light resulted from the irradiation light; an image processing unit used for performing image processing on the image converted from theincident light to acquire image information; a determination unit which is used for determining a state of the outer peripheral portion of the rotating grinding wheel according to the image information and sending a determination signal indicating that the outer peripheral portion of the rotating grinding wheel is in a specific state. The light-emitting portion is placed on one side of the outerperipheral portion of the rotary grinding wheel, and the light-receiving portion is placed on the side of the outer peripheral portion of the rotary grinding wheel. The determination unit can issue anotch determination signal indicating a notch defect (Cmin) in the rotating grinding wheel and a wear amount determination signal indicating the amount of wear of the rotating grinding wheel.
