Abstract:
To prevent melting of a commodity while protecting a compressor.SOLUTION: A commodity storage device includes: a discharge temperature sensor 31 for detecting a discharge temperature of a coolant of a compressor 211 constituting a cooling unit 20; and a control unit 40 for reducing a drive speed of the compressor 211 when the discharge temperature detected by the discharge temperature sensor 31 is equal to or higher than an allowable upper limit temperature, and increasing the drive speed of the compressor 211 when the discharge temperature is equal to or lower than an allowable lower limit temperature. The control unit 40 further reduces the drive speed of the compressor 211 when the discharge temperature newly detected by the discharge temperature sensor 31 becomes equal to or higher than the allowable upper limit temperature again after the drive speed of the compressor 211 is reduced because the discharge temperature has become equal to or higher than the allowable upper limit temperature, and outputs a notification command to a notification unit 33 and causes the notification unit 33 to execute a notification operation, assuming that an abnormality is occurring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
