To provide a process for producing accessories having protective films, which is good in workability at the time of forming the protective films, is low in cost, makes the protective films resistant to flawing and cracking, obviates the occurrence of water infiltration between the surfaces of the accessories and the protective films, has good transparency, resistance to discoloration and good finishes and makes the removal of the protective films relatively easy and allows renewal, a jig for coating the accessories and the accessories.

The protective films are formed on the surfaces of the accessories by supporting the accessories in such a manner that the circumferences of the accessories are put into a wellhole state, spraying a coating material to the surfaces of the accessories and spraying the coating material like wellholes around the accessories. The jig for coating the accessories is provided with accessory fixing means 3 at a frame 1 having the diameter larger than the diameter of the accessories toward the inside of this frame 1. The accessories are, thereupon, fixed by the accessory fixing means 3 disposed to face inward from the frame having the diameter larger than the diameter of the accessories and are so supported that the circumferences of the accessories are put into the wellhole state. The coating material is then sprayed toward the surfaces of the accessories and the coating material is sprayed like the wellholes around the accessories, by which the protective films are formed on one or both sides.
