Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the title copolymer which is excellent in compatibility or dispersion stability and molding workability and can give a molding excellent in surface properties and low shrinkage, by reacting a specified liquid rubber compound with an aliphatic -lactone.
CONSTITUTION: 95W5wt% liquid rubber having at least one hydroxyl group in the molecule (e.g., hydrogenated α,ω-1,2-polybutadiene glycol) and 5W95wt% aliphatic -lactone (e.g., -caprolactone) are gradually polymerized by ring opening in the presence of a catalyst (e.g., tetrabutyl titanate).
