Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a briquetted and pressed granule by which sufficiently stable granular material capable of dosing, hardly having dust and having dispersibility equal to that of a conventionally used powder is provided.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a granule obtained by briquetting and pressing a carbon black and an auxiliary material is constituted by a) mixing one or more kinds of carbon black with one or more kinds of auxiliary materials for improving the processability, b) subjecting the mixture to a pressing or briquetting process, c) comminuting the pressed or briquetted product, d) fractionating the comminuted product into two or more fractions, and e) taking out the first fraction in which at least 85% of the granules have at least 80μm diameter as the product and taking out other one or more fractions from the process.
