Title:
PRODUCTION OF COLOR FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63234203
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit easy formation of fine patterns by forming an org. photoconductive film on a substrate, then electrifying the org. photoconductive film to prescribed polarizes for each of, for example, red, green and blue pigments, exposing part of the org. photoconductive film, removing the electric charge and depositing the pigments electrostatically on the org. photoconductive film.

CONSTITUTION: A conductor 21 consisting of ITO or the like is sputtered to 0.3μm thickness on one main plane of the substrate 20 consisting of 10cm square glass. A soln. prepd. by dissolving, for example, polyvinyl carbazole in an org. solvent is coated as the org. photoconductive film 22 by a spinner on the conductor 21 to 0.5m thickness and is dried. The positive electric charge is charged by corona discharge on the surface of the conductive film 22 and the part except the part where a red filter is to be formed is exposed by using a mask. Fine powder of Fe2O3 is adhered as the red pigment 23 on said part. The green and blue filters are then similarly formed by using malachite green powder and ultramarine powder. The exposed regions of the org. photoconductive film 2 are thus the parts where the deposition of the red, green, blue pigments 23, 24, 25 is not intended. The pigments 23, 24, 25 are electrified negative opposite from the prescribed polarity before the deposition.
