PURPOSE: To obtain a gravure pattern excellent in profundity and transparency, by exploiting a picture pattern on a synthetic resin sheet containing a dyestuff colorant itself as a picture pattern on a decorative floor board.

CONSTITUTION: Vinyl chloride resin sol containing a white pigment is applied onto the surface of a glass fiber cloth substrate 1, and heated to gel and form a white resin layer 2. Clear paste of vinyl chloride resin sol is applied onto the layer 2, and heated to gel and form a base clear layer 3. Onto this surface is transferred a picture M1 of a printing transfer sheet having a picture pattern of a printing ink containing an ink binder of a thermoplastic synthetic resin and a colorant of a sublimable disperse dyestuff. Clear paste of a vinyl chloride resin is further applied through the transferred picture pattern onto the upper surface of the base clear layer 3, and heated to gel and form a top clear layer 4. At the same time the sublimable disperse dyestuff in the transferred picture pattern M2 is allowed to permeate into the base clear layer 3 and the top clear layer 4.
