Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a flowerpot made of vegetable fiber, having tough bottom part with high water-retention, keeping-the air-permeability of the circumferential wall part and having sufficiently high strength.
CONSTITUTION: Vegetable fibers are laminated in the form of a sheet to form a base material 7. The base material 7 is hot-pressed between a female mold 5 and a male mold 6 and formed to the desired flowerpot form by pushing the base material 7 into the female mold 5 in two steps.
