Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely producing cap high crystallinity platinum powder of stable quality and capable 8 being automated.
SOLUTION: At least one kind of salt selected from alkali salt and alkali earth metal salt is used as a spacer, which is wetly mixed with platinum black, this mixture is dried and pulverized, which is baked and subjected to dilute acid treatment to remove gas and salt, and after that, washing and drying are executed to obtain platinum powder having high crystallinity. As at least one kind of salt selected from alkali salt or alkali earth metal salt, calcium carbonate can suitably be used, and by the amt. of the salt to be mixed, the average particle size of the completed platinum powder can be regulated.
