Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form stable films on a tape surface and to improve the resistance to yellowing by executing the stages for molding and winding the Li (alloy) tape in a gaseous mixture having a specific compsn. and forcibly blowing this gas.
CONSTITUTION: The gaseous mixture having the compsn. consisting, by volumetric %, of 0.1 to 3% carbon dioxide, 20 to 50% dehumidified air and the balance of an inert gas is prepd. The stage for molding the Li (alloy) to a tape shape and the stage for winding the resulted tape to a coil form are executed in this gaseous mixture atmosphere. Further, the above-mentioned gaseous mixture is forcibly blown between the above-mentioned molding stage and the winding stage.
