Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic coating with good dispersibility, by kneading magnetic powder, a resin, alumina powder and a solvent in a ball mill in which both nylon balls and alumina ones are put together in specified volume proportion, to eliminate powder generation due to the wear of alumina bals.
CONSTITUTION: The objective coating can be obtained by kneading a raw mate rial comprising magnetic powder, a resin, alumina powder and a solvent in a ball mill in which both nylon balls and alumina balls are mixed together in a volume ratio of the latter to the former, pref. 5W60%.
