PURPOSE: To stably roll solidified deposits which is smoothly peeled by depositing and solidifying gas jetted minute particle of molten metal on the leader strip along peripheral face of a rotated drum and rolling this strip under tension condition.
CONSTITUTION: The minute particle Mp finely granulating the flowed molten metal M by gas jetting of an atomizer 3 is deposited on the thin leader strip 10 along the peripheral face of rotated cooling drum 5, to solidify D. This strip 10 is passed through a rolling mill 6 while given the tension by a press-roll 11, introducing roll 13 and a deflector roll 12 and wound to a coiler 7. After that, the solidified deposit DS which is smoothly peeled is stably rolled under tension condition and wound to the coiler 7. Further, this strip-like deposit DS is controlled at suitable temp. by heating or cooling device 17.
