Abstract:
To provide a production method for a ceramic product capable of suppressing a polishing amount difference.SOLUTION: In a production method for a ceramic product: a ceramic workpiece held by a fixture is brought into contact with abrasive grains magnetically connected by magnetic lines from a magnet facing the ceramic workpiece across a space; the workpiece is polished by relatively moving the fixture to the magnet; the workpiece is provided with a first portion and a second portion being connected in an axial direction and having a larger outside diameter than that of the first portion; a member made of a ferromagnetic body is disposed to be spaced from the magnet at a second portion side of the workpiece in the outside of the space; and at least a part of the abrasive grains is drawn from the inside of the space to the outside of the space by drawing the magnetic lines passing the space when the first portion and the second portion of the workpiece are simultaneously polished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
