PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a polyolefin-based resin composition suitable as a master batch to be used for forming a polypropylene film having excellent blocking resistance, dispersibility, fisheye characteristics, printing characteristics and transparency.SOLUTION: A production method of a polyolefin-based resin composition (X) is provided, which comprises: supplying 100 parts by weight of a propylene-based polymer (A) from a main hopper to an extruder equipped with the main hopper and a side feed supply port; and supplying 1 to 19 parts by weight of an amorphous silica having the following characteristics from the side feed supply port. The amorphous silica has (i) an average particle diameter of 1 to 10 μm measured by a laser diffraction method, (ii) a BET specific surface area of 30 to 700 m/g, (iii) a bulk density of 0.1 to 1 g/ml, (iv) a pore volume of 0.3 to 3 ml/g, and (v) an oil absorption of 50 to 500 ml/100 g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
