Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize the sensitivity of a detector and improve the electric insulating property by producing the device so that the finished surface of an epoxy resin is uniform and flat.

CONSTITUTION: Grooves having a certain width and a certain depth are provided at prescribed intervals on holding frames 9a and 9b, and these grooves are used as guides to hold anode plates 6 and cathode plates 7. When an adhesive 12 is cooled in a certain degree and hardening advances and the viscosity of the adhesive reaches such level that it is not raised abnormally by surface tension, plates 6 and 7 are pressed into the adhesive 12, and they are left as they are to perform potting. When an epoxy adhesive packing frame material 11b is removed after the adhesive is hardened completely, plates 6 and 7 are joined onto a base 11a. Other end parts of plates 6 and 7 are joined to the base 11a similarly. After upper and lower bases are adhered to each other, frames 9a and 9b are removed. Thus, the finished surface of the adhesive 12 is uniform and flat. Consequently, the sensitivity of the detector is stabilized, and the electric insulating property is improved.
