PURPOSE: To produce a molded sound insulating material by preventing generation of resin dust, dispersing uniformally into fiber component while improving ecomical efficiency, stabilizing sanitarily and uniformly the quality of product and adjusting thickness in every desired parts of product at the time of dispersing a resin component into a fiber component.

CONSTITUTION: An uncontinuous fiber component consisting of rag opening, waste cotton and glass wool is mixed into a thermosetting resin dispersed solution using a water soluble phenol resin to form dispersed solution mixed with the fiber component. A resin mold having an inner partition panel is dipped into the dispersed solution mixed with the fiber component and after sucked in every part divided with the partition panel while controlling vacuum sucking time, the part in the mold is taken out and passes through an oven at 200°C for 10min to form the molded sound insulating material.
