To obtain the subject composition by including various kinds of aggregates, a bituminous material, an asphalt emulsion system, and a specific partially or completely neutralized product to effect high adhesion between the bituminous material and aggregates.
This composition is obtained by including (A) various kinds of aggregates, (B) a bituminous material as binder, (C) an asphalt emulsion system, and (D) 0.05-5.0 wt.% (pref. 0.3-3.0 wt.%), based on the component B, of a product formed by partially or completely neutralizing with an organic sulfonic acid or sulfuric ester compound (e.g. p-toluenesulfonic acid) a condensate (e.g. diimidazoline compound) as a reaction product from a polyalkylenepolyamine of the formula H2N[(CH2)mNH]n(CH2)mNH2 (m is 2 or 3; n is 1-8) (e.g. pentaethylenehexamine) and 1 to (n+m) mol of a 8-22C (un)saturated fatty acid (e.g. oleic acid).
