Title:
PRODUCTION OF OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05169822
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an optical recording medium such as an optical disk having high stability against heat by forming an org. film containing a compound represented by a specific general formula on a substrate.

CONSTITUTION: The org. film provided on the substrate of an optical disk contains a polymethine compound represented by general formula (wherein R1-R4 are a hydrogen atom, a substituted or non-substituted alkyl grpup, a substituted or non-substituted aryl group, a substituted or non-substituted styryl group or a substituted or non-substituted heterocyclic group, X is an anion, m is 0 or 1 and n is 0, 1 or 2) and a series of small optically detectable recessed parts separated from each other are formed to the org. film. The org. film is formed by coating the substrate with a coating solution prepared by adding the polymethine compound to a binder and the optical disk having high stability against heat is obtained.
