Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce paper from eucalyptus pulp while effectively preventing the vessel picking trouble attributable to eucalyptus pulp.
CONSTITUTION: Microfibrous cellulose having a water-holding capacity of ≥210% and an average fiber length of 0.01-0.4mm is added in an amount of 0.5-20wt.%, based on the total raw materials, to a feed pulp compounded with ≥20wt.% of the pulp made from eucalyptus lumber to produce paper therefrom.
