PURPOSE: To obtain the titled immunoglobulin useful for remedying immunological incompetence, by separating a cell producing a polyclonal human immunoglobulin from a cell group producing a human immunoglobulin and cultivating it.
CONSTITUTION: A cell group (e.g., human lymphoblast transformed with Epstein- Barr virus or hybridoma between human normal lymphocyte and human or mouse bone marrow cell) producing a human immunoglobulin is brought into contact with a solid phase linked to an anti-human immunoglobulin antibody, a cell group to produce a human immunoglobulin of a specific class is selectively adsorbed on the solid phase, separated and cultivated, to give a polyclonal human immunoglobulin (e.g., human IgA, human IgG, or human IgM) of a single class. The polyclonal human immunoglobulin shows improved antibody effects on unspecific bacteria and viruses and is useful for remedying immunological incompetence, etc.
