PURPOSE: To produce the subject inexpensive pot scarcely broken and good in air permeability, handleability and appearance and further compatibility with roots of plants by partially keeping a pulp material in a nonpressure state when molding the pulp material by a papermaking method.

CONSTITUTION: A pulp material is partially kept in a nonpressure state when molded by a papermaking method and watermarks 2 are formed according to classification of the watermarks 2 by papermaking to produce a pot. Thereby, the objective pot 1 having nonpressed parts having natural pleats 1a formed on the surface, soft to eyes and good in harmony in a room is obtained.
