Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a new recombinant DNA useful for efficiently obtaining a protein corresponding to an integrated protein structural gene.

CONSTITUTION: A recombinant DNA is obtained by inserting an alkaline protease promoter derived from a genomic gene of alkaline protease of yellow- green KOJI (yeast) mold and a protein structural gene into a vector DNA. The alkaline protease promoter derived from the genomic gene of the alkaline protease of the yellow-green KOJI mold has a base sequence expressed by the formula. The recombinant DNA is obtained by inserting the alkaline protease promoter derived from the genomic gene of the alkaline protease of the yellow-green KOJI mold, the objective protein structural gene and, as necessary, a terminator derived from the genomic gene of the alkaline protease of the yellow-green KOJI mold into a vector DNA.
