This process for the production of a sheet-formed material comprises the mixing of 100 pts.wt. of a styrene-based elastomer with 150-2,400 pts.wt. of an organic solvent, 100-1,500 pts.wt. of water and 1-20 pts.wt. of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 6-17, the impregnation of the obtained styrene elastomer dispersion liquid into a fibrous base material and the drying of the product.
