PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compound readily capable of isolating as a solid or crystal and useful as an organic electronic material, by dissolving a specific tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane and an excess electron-donating compound in a specific solvent and removing the solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane (TCNAQ) expressed by the formula (R is halogen, cyano, nitro, alkyl, aryl or alkoxycarbonyl; n is 2 and m is 0 or n is 1 and m is 1) such as 2,6-dichloro TCNAQ, etc., and an excess electron-donating compounded such as naphthalene, etc., are dissolved in a mixed solvent of a solvent such as methylene chloride, etc., soluble in both compounds and a poor solvent such as alcohol, CCl4, etc., or once dissolved in the soluble solvent and the poor solvent is added to the solution and then the solvent is removed to provide the aimed complex which is a crystalline solid having 100W300°C melting point, showing spectrum particular to the complex, colored in purple, yellow, orange, green, etc., and having high electric conductivity.
