PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of production by arraying plural ultrasonic delay media in parallel so that their electromechanical transducing elements and earth electrodes are aligned and pressing and fixing these electromechanical transducing elements and earth electrodes with lead wires.

CONSTITUTION: The electromechanical transducing element 2 and the earth electrode 3 are fitted to the surface of each ultrasonic delay medium 1. Plural ultrasonic delay media 1 are fixed on the groove of a fixing board 5 respectively so that the positions of the elements 2 and electrodes 3 are aligned. Rivets 6 are fitted to both the sides of the fixing board 5 so as to lock plural lead wires 4 with tension to press and fix the lead wires 4 against the elements 2 and the electrodes 3. Thereby, pressure plates 10 respectively having notches 10a for setting up the lead wires 4 on correct positions are fixed on a pivotal supporting rod 9. Thus, the pressed and fixed lead wires 4 are adhered by soldering or conductive adhesives.
