Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to enjoy an interactive program by covering one part of an image with an image that is produced by an application program, switching a designated scene and performing program presentation that is differ ent to each user.
SOLUTION: Video information 201 to be broadcasted, for instance, is divided into four scenes A to D and is shown (presented). An onscreen display (OSD: TV screen display) 202 which is produced by an application program conceals an image that is not presented and also presents operation information with graphics and characters to encourage a user to operate. As for a presented image 203, only the scene A is presented in the case of a diagram prepared as a result of synthesizing images 201 and 202. In the image 203, a different image 204 appears as a result of a user's selecting the image, a part of the scene A is concealed and the scene B is presented. Thus, program presentation that has different development is performed according to each user.
