Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the display easy to see, by reading data of each input/output address set to a monitor input means in every execution cycle of a user program and displaying this read input/output data on arranged displays and extracting only the logical state of the input/output signal. CONSTITUTION:A user program is read out successively from a user program memory 4 by a CPU1 of a programmable controller, and input/output data stored in an input/output memory 6 are subjected to operation processings in accordance with instructions of the user program. Synchronously with this execution of the program, input data is written in a prescribed area of an input/output device 5, and output data of a prescribed area of the memory 6 is transferred to the device 5. The device 5 is provided with a terminal board 5A, which external input/output devices are connected to, and an input/output state display 5B which is provided with indicator lamps corresponding to terminals of the terminal board 5A in 1:1. The logical state of data inputted to or outputted from the terminal board 5A is displayed on the display 5B to make the logical state of input/output data easy to see.
