Abstract:
PURPOSE: To display an address or symbol name in a control program as it is inputted, and to delete a storage area for storing the symbol name by lightening the burden of registering operation for the symbol name.
CONSTITUTION: When a relay address given to an equipment lamp is described as a symbol name 'lamp' in the control program, the relay address and symbol name are registered in a symbol table 4 while made to correspond to each other, and symbol information is generated and stored in a symbol information storage part 7. A compilation part 5 adds a symbol flag showing whether or not the symbol name is used at compiling process time to a machine word code, and converts the symbol name into a relay address registered in the symbol table 4 when the symbol name is used. A recompilation part 8 refers to the flag in the machine word address at recompiling process time and displays the relay address at a display part 9 as it is or by substituting the registered symbol name registered in the symbol table 4 for it.
