CONSTITUTION: White light emitted from a light source 1 receives image- modulation by a liquid crystal display panel 2; the light which received image- modulation is focused by a focusing lens 3, is passed through a diaphragm 4 to forms a wide angle image; it is projected on a spherical screen. This combination of the focusing lens, the diaphragm, and a divergent lens, composes the fisheye lens 6. When this is used for flight simulator, etc., an image is projected on a spherical screen 14, which is provided around a chair 13, from the projection type liquid crystal display device 15, which is attached to a upper part of the chair 13, etc. Thus, a man 11 can feels as if he was really in a place displayed on the spherical screen 14.
