Abstract:

To provide a projector that prevents reduction in reliability.

The projector includes: an outer case; a power supply device arranged in the outer case; an illumination optical system arranged in the outer case and including a light source that is operated by the power supplied from the power supply device; an image forming system arranged in the outer case and forming an image using the light from the illumination optical system; a plurality of temperature sensors arranged in each of a plurality of positions in the outer case; and a control device that controls the power supply device on the basis of a detection value of at least one of the plurality of temperature sensors.
