CONSTITUTION: A protecting circuit of a DC motor is constituted of a main current control element Q1 controlling an electric current of a motor M, a control amount regulating element Q2 regulating a control amount signal of the main current control element based on an output commanding signal and an electric current detecting resistance RD detecting a motor current. It has a first feedback circuit A feedbacking negatively a detected current signal to the control amount signal of the control amount regulating element, a second feedback circuit B feedbacking negatively a voltage signal VM of one input terminal of the motor to the control amount signal of the control amount regulating element and feedback quantity distributing devices R1 and RV setting distribution of negative feedback quantities of the first and the second feedback circuits against the control amount signal. According to the constitution, in the case of normal starting, starting torque is relatively increased, and when the temperature of a coil is raised by overload, the motor current is reduced to protect the motor, etc.
