PURPOSE: To improve the atmosphere, external appearance, and decorative function of a protection case and increase the design effect.

CONSTITUTION: A protection case is formed to be of a square box type by a case body 6 provided with a pocket in which a video tape cartridge is inserted and set and a cover body 7 covering the outer face of the video tape cartridge echarged in the pocket. The case body 6 and the cover body 7 are formed by a colored plastic material with a high lightness respectively to have a opaque and dim color tone. A decorative display 10 s provided at the outer face of a main wall 6a of case body 6. The decorative display 10 includes a printed indication 10a and a presentation indication 11 composed of labels.
