To provide a protective adhesive film which prevents infiltration of a foreign substance from the periphery and vicinity of a projection, not only on a flat surface, but also on a curved surface, and thereby can protect surely a finished surface in the periphery of the projection being an object of protection and the finished surface being apart from the projection and which can be stuck easily and thereby can make a sticking operation efficient.
The protective adhesive film comprises the main body 1 of the protective adhesive film of which the object of protection is the finished surface in the periphery of the projection P. An exposure opening 2 wherein the projection P can be exposed and an aperture 3 which extends from the peripheral edge of the exposure opening 2 to the peripheral edge of the main body 1 of the protective adhesive film, are provided. Moreover, it is preferable that the object of protection is a curved surface and that the aperture 3 is provided by making the periphery of the exposure opening 2 opening in one direction.
