PURPOSE: To dispense with a processing on a drive housing and to ensure a reliable fix of a dish shaped protective cover by arranging an adapter ring that is mountable, through a groove, on a projecting part formed in the drive housing.
CONSTITUTION: An adapter ring 11 is inserted in a projecting part 4 of a drive housing 2. In order to fix the adapter ring 11, the projecting part 4 has a peripheral groove 9 and a plurality of radial projections 10 that are peripherally distributed in the groove 9. The adapter ring 11 has a plurality of peripherally distributed grooves 13 to fit over the projections 10. The adapter ring 11 further has a peripheral annular bead 12 in its inner periphery, the adapter ring 11 is engaged to the peripheral groove 9 through the bead 12.
