To obtain a protective sheet having excellent heat resistance, heat insulation properties, and flexibility and having a moderate surface resistivity by mixing a polyorganosiloxane with a conductive monocrystalline inorganic fiber in a specified ratio.
This sheet comprises 20-95 wt.%, based on the total weight of the components, (A) polyorganosiloxane and 5-80 wt.%, based on the total weight of the components, (B) conductive monocrystalline inorganic fiber. With a view to impart mechanical strengths, the sheet comprises 30-90 wt.%, based on the total weight of the components, component A, 5-69.9 wt.%, based on the total weight of the component, component B, and 65-0.1 wt.% (C) nonconductive substance. It is desirable that component B is one having a powder electric resistance of below 1×105 Ω and an average fiber length of at most 200 μm. It is desirable that the nonconductive substance is one having a surface resistivity of at least about 105 Ω/sq. It is desirable that the surface resistivity of the protective sheet is about 1×104 to 1×1011 Ω/sq.
