Title:
PULSE GENERATION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016208216
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an electric pulse having a much narrower pulse width and much larger amplitude while suppressing the energy of an optical pulse.SOLUTION: A pulse generation circuit (2) includes: an optoelectronic circuit (11) for generating an electric signal according to an incident optical pulse; a first transistor (TR1) whose first main electrode is connected to a first fixed potential (Vh); a load resistance (RL) connected between a second main electrode of the first transistor and a second fixed potential (Vsrc1) lower than the first fixed potential; and a second transistor (TR2) whose first main electrode is connected to a second main electrode of the first transistor, and whose second main electrode is connected to a third fixed potential (TR2) not higher than the second fixed potential; and a drive circuit (20). The drive circuit is configured to, when the electric signal is generated by the optoelectronic circuit, turn on the first transistor, and then to turn on the second transistor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
