PURPOSE: To effectively pulverize a material to be pulverized by forming projections as many as pulverizing nozzles on impact members.
CONSTITUTION: A material to be pulverized is introduced into the lower part of a fluidized bed pulverizing chamber 7 and compressed air is jetted from pulverizing nozzles 5 to the pulverizing chamber 7 to perform pulverization. The pulverized material is classified by a classifying rotor installed in the upper part of the fluidized bed pulverizing chamber 7 to discharge the pulverized material having desired particle size distribution from a discharging pipe. In this pulverizer, a buffer member 9 having a specified shape corresponding to each pulverizing nozzle 5 is installed in the jetting forward direction of the pulverizing nozzles 5. In this way, the fed compressed air energy is more effectively used. The buffer member 9 has projections as many as the pulverizing nozzles 5.
