Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device which notifies a user in advance that a residual amount of a liquid to be sucked is small before a pump starts idling.SOLUTION: A pump device for sucking a liquid stored in a storage part includes: a gear pump in which a gear arranged in a casing is driven by a motor and which is arranged so that a suction pipe for guiding the liquid into the casing from the storage part erects from the storage part; a drive part for supplying a driving current of the motor; a detection part for detecting a current value of the driving current of the motor; a notification part; and a CPU. The CPU executes: measurement processing for measuring from the time when the gear pump is driven to the time when the current value detected in the detection part becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined current value; and notification processing for performing notification by a notification part when the time measured in the measurement processing is equal to or greater than predetermined reference time.
