To quickly purify bathwater in the case where the bathwater becomes dirty suddenly by bathing, and to reduce running cost and noise by lowering the function of purification, by varying the circulation flow rate of a circulating means until the elapse of a definite time after the presetting of strong purification.
A purifying means 1 for filtrating and sterilizing bathwater being passed through consists of a filtrating part and a sterilizing part, and a circulating means 2 discharges the bathwater from a bathtub, passes it through the purifying means 1 and returns it to the bathtub. A circulation flow rate- varying means 3 controls the circulation flow rate of the circulating means 2 and a strong purification-presetting means 4 which is operated when a user wants to maximize the function of purification and is provided on an operating part. When strong purification is not preset by the strong purification-presetting means 4, the circulation flow rate of the circulating means 2 is preset at a low flow rate by the circulation flow rate-varying means 3. When the strong purification is preset by operating the strong purification-presetting means 4, the circulation flow rate of the circulating means 2 is varied maximum for a definite time by the circulation flow rate-varying means 3.
