Title:
PUTTING SIMULATION DEVICE AND PUTTER USED THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05337231
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute training of putting by a simulation without executing the putting in an actual distance, and to execute training of long putting even in a narrow space.

CONSTITUTION: On one end part of an artificial lawn 1, a vibration plate 2 is installed in a state that it is floated a little from the lawn surface, and a vibration sensor 3 is attached to the reverse side of the vibration plate 2. From the other end of the artificial lawn 1, a ball is hit out with a putter, and hit against the surface of the vibration plate 2. Magnitude of vibration of the vibration plate 2 is detected by the vibration sensor 3, and magnitude of shock force which the vibration plate 2 receives by the ball is measured by a vibration measuring instrument 4. By inputting in advance a relation of the shock force which the vibration plate 2 receives and a rolling distance of the ball to an arithmetic processor 5, the rolling distance of the ball is calculated from the magnitude of the shock force obtained by the measurement. A result of calculation is displayed on a display 6.
