Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal sound in an audible range from a motor by setting the frequency of a comparison triangular wave to the specific frequency by using power MOSFET for a switching element. CONSTITUTION:Power MOSFETs 10, 11 are used for a switching element of a phase drive unit 3 for converting DC to AC. The facts that the comparison triangular wave frequency and the copping frequency are equal in a controller 2, the abnormal sound generated from a motor 9 is generated at twice of the chopping frequency and the audible range of the human is 20Hz-16kHz are considered, and the chopping frequency or the comparison triangular wave frequency is set to 8-16kHz. Thus, the abnormal sound from the motor 9 is limited out of the audible range of 16-25kHz, and the abnormal sound from the motor in the audible range can be prevented.
