Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Title compound of formula I (X1, X2 are halogen; R is H, methyl; Y is hydroxyl, p-acetylphenyl, p-phenoxyphenyl, p-diphenyl, p-acetylamin)phenyl, -O-cation).
EXAMPLE: 1,3-Dimethyl-4-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)-5-(4-acetylbenzoylmethoxy) pyrazole.
USE: Herbicide: they show repelling activity against injurious weeds as barnyard grass or unbrella plant substantially without causing damage against rice plant.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound of formula II and a compound of formula III(Hal is halogen; Y' is hydroxyl, p-acectylphenyl, p-phenoxyphenyl, p-diphenyl, p-acetylaminophenyl) as 4-acetylphenacyl bromide are refluxed in a solvent in the presence of an alkaline substance for 1-10 hr to give the pyrazole derivative of formula IV.
