Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and compact an apparatus for processing a pyrolysis process residue, i.e., the residue stemmed from a pyrolysis process. SOLUTION: A fluidized bed type separating tower 11 is provided for separating a fine grain part from the pyrolysis process residue. The separating towel 11 fluidizes the pyrolytic process residue by injecting air from an air diffusing header tube 11A into the pyrolysis process residue, so that a fine grain part is blown away and separated from the pyrolysis process residue, then recovered by a cyclone 14. A residual part excepting the fine grain (the second residue) is discharged from the underside of the fluidized bed type separating tower 11 by a screw feeder 15 to be passed through a bucket conveyer 21, magnetic separator 23, aluminum separator 25 and so on into a crusher 28. The second residue is then returned to the fluidized bed type separating tower 11 via a bucket conveyers 30 and 17, etc. A part of the second residue not crushed enough by the crusher is sifted by a sieve 16 and crushed by the crusher 28 repeatedly.
